1954 – Frankipile Aust starts geotech drilling
1960 – First full-time staff (Don Douglas) & Sydney laboratory built
1963 - Ground Test Australia starts as trading division of Frankipile
1964 – Brisbane office opens
1971 – Ground Test Pty Ltd incorporated as separate company
1976 – Townsville office commences
1980 - Newcastle office starts initially as part time only
1983 – D.J. Douglas Partners Pty Ltd formed to buy Ground Test
1983 – Douglas Partners acquires Soil Mechanics Ltd’s Newcastle operation
1990 - Douglas Partners opens an office on the Central Coast
1990 – Cairns office commences operations
1994 – Perth office opens its doors to Western Australia
1989 – Douglas Partners acquires SoilMech P/L in Melbourne
1994 – Douglas Partners opens Campbelltown office, now relocated to Macarthur
1995 – Darwin Office commences
1995 – Wollongong office opens its doors
1998 – Gold Coast office is opened
2006 – Douglas Partners expands to the Sunshine Coast
2015 - Douglas Partners acquires Chandler Morrison Geotechnical in Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie, forming Douglas CMG
