Dave Evans is a Senior Associate of Douglas Partners Pty Ltd and is the Laboratory Quality Manager. He is the corporate representative for the laboratory management system and is responsible for maintaining Douglas Partners NATA accreditation, authorization and control of the Laboratory Management Manual and implementing the requirements of ISO 17025.
Dave has completed Cert IV and Diploma in Laboratory Technology and has completed several NATA training courses including Quality Management in the Laboratory and the Technical Assessors program. Dave is a NATA technical assessor and signatory for a wide range of soils, aggregate and concrete testing.
Dave started working with Douglas Partners on the Cullerin Range Deviation in 1991 and has over 25 years’ experience with Douglas Partners in Earthworks and laboratory testing having worked on many earthworks projects from both regional bases and on-site laboratories, including subdivisions, dams, airports, ports, mine sites, quarries and large scale road projects.
Dave has had involvement in the bulk earthworks and civil testing for most of the major residential and commercial subdivisions that have been constructed in the Illawarra region, including Bulli Brickworks, Edgewood Estate, Woonona, Shell Cove Estate, Redgum Ridge, Tullimbar Village and Calderwood Valley. Dave has also had involvement in large scale infrastructure projects including Lawrence Hargrave Drive Overpass, Wollongong Northern Distributor, Port Kemble Multi-Purpose Berth, Gullen Range & Taralga Windfarms and WIN entertainment Centre. His broad range of experience also includes testing and inspections on smaller projects including, residential and commercial projects, trench backfill, driveways and quality control testing of quarry materials, also quality control testing of concrete. He is also accredited for testing on Sydney Water Projects.
