Sam is an Associate of Douglas Partners based in our Sydney Office. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with over ten years of consultancy experience, gained on civil, maritime and geotechnical projects in Australasia and Africa.
He has completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) and Master of Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology (with Excellence) from UNSW.
Sam started his career in the combined fields of coastal and geotechnical engineering, mainly working on maritime related projects (dredging, revetments, reclamations, seawalls, embankments, levees and marine piling).
Since joining Douglas Partners in 2017, Sam has been involved in a number of projects involving deep basements, existing landfills and building upgrades in Sydney. He has also worked on a broad range of projects including investigations, analysis, anchor supervision, pile load testing and construction phase service in NSW, NT and East Timor.
