Graduate Environmental Engineer/Scientist (Contaminated Land) (QLD)

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated person who has completed professional qualifications in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science, preferably with Honours, and with a focus on contaminated land investigations and remediation.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting senior staff with contaminated land investigations
  • Field investigation work
  • Soil, surface and groundwater sampling
  • Site history investigations
  • Logging of subsurface conditions
  • Proposal and report writing

About The Candidate

The successful applicant will have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to operate effectively in a team environment. The applicant must not only be a keen learner with a positive, can-do attitude, they must also enjoy working outdoors and be comfortable working independently in rural and occasionally remote locations. The applicant must hold a Class C manual driver’s license, and have the ability to work any day or night of the week if required (including short and extended periods away from Brisbane).
