We are seeking a highly motivated person who has completed professional qualifications in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology, preferably with Honours, to join our new office in North-west Sydney. Ideally, you will have up to 3 years of experience working as a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist.
Duties will include:
Assisting senior staff on geotechnical and environmental engineering projects.
Field investigation work.
Soil, surface and groundwater sampling.
Site history investigations.
Logging of subsurface conditions.
Construction inspections and supervision.
Proposal and report writing.
About The Candidate
The successful applicant(s) will have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to operate effectively in a team environment. The applicant must not only be a keen learner with a positive, can-do attitude, they must also enjoy working outdoors and be comfortable working independently in rural and occasionally remote locations. The applicant must hold a current driver’s licence, and have the ability to work any day or night of the week if required.
