Financial Analyst

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team.

Reporting to our Financial Business Partnering Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • assisting in the preparation of accurate and complete annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • providing sound commercial and analytical support to aid business decision making
  • supporting the business with ad hoc financial and commercial analysis and reports as requested
  • developing financial models to support the reporting of key operational metrics on a periodic manner
  • for driving process improvement and operational advancement by challenging the status quo and identifying areas of improvement within the business

About the Candidate

You will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a financial analytical role working closely with the business.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel (strong, demonstrated financial modelling experience) Excellent communication skills in both oral and written
  • System implementation/development experience in relation to business intelligence tools.
  • Power BI experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build sound relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external consultants.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and meet set timeframes.
