Hummingbird House: Building a Children’s Hospice
Hummingbird House by ThomsonAdsett gives us important insights into how design may contribute to short break stays and end-of-life care for children and teenagers. One of just three children’s hospices in the country and the only one in the state, is a study into the tight bonds that exist between aesthetics and emotions. Douglas partner is proud to have provided our geotechnical engineering know-how on this project.

DP Approach Saves Time and Money

One example was a small project along the foreshore of Port Stephens in NSW where our client (Royal Haskoning DHV) was looking to prepare conceptual designs for the upgrade of an existing boat ramp and a pontoon structure.
