Craig Trimbur

Principal / Environmental Scientist

Craig is based in our Melbourne office and has over 24 years of experience leading environmental investigations on projects in the US and across the Asia Pacific region. His project experience has included significant focus in groundwater and soil remediation, expert witness support, regulatory audits and site rehabilitation. This has included extensive experience managing large leading teams delivering specialist environmental inputs addressing a wide range of client and site-specific issues.

Recent major project experience has included site investigations, waste classification and construction phase services on the West Gate Tunnel, Suburban Rail Loop and Sunshine Superhub (Melbourne Airport Rail) projects on behalf of Tier 1 contractor clients. The common challenges across these and most major projects globally focus on managing uncertainty of ground conditions and how they impact upon delivery. Helping our clients deliver these projects by providing our specialist technical inputs to remove and manage this uncertainty is crucial to meeting their objectives and minimising risks.

When he’s not thinking about how to best manage project tunnel spoil, Craig and his wife are chasing after their young twins and dreaming of future travel destinations (and a nap).
